Registration Information

Once you have implemented the CQM requirements on your farm and kept complete records for at least 3 months, you can apply for registration with the program. Upon receipt of your application, the provincial delivery agent will send a validator to your farm to verify that you are following the program effectively.

The validator uses a checklist similar to the questionnaire in the CQM workbook to evaluate how well you meet the requirements of the program. The validator reviews records, observes practices on the farm and interviews personnel. The validator writes a report and sends the report to the provincial delivery agent who reviews it and makes a final decision on your registration.

Upon successful completion of the validation, the provincial delivery agent will register you with the CQM program and send you a certificate.

Registration means that you have implemented the CQM program effectively and have demonstrated compliance with the requirements. It also means that you are committed to maintaining the CQM requirements on your farm and you will be validated regularly.

Registration with the CQM program does not indicate or imply the registration of product from your facilities or guarantee the safety of any products.

Registration with the program is your proof to consumers and customers that you have implemented the CQM program effectively and are continuing to maintain it.
