FIL-IDF Canada Workshop
March 16-17, 2010 - Ottawa, ONAbout the Workshop: The Canadian National Committee of the International Dairy Federation (FIL-IDF Canada) is hosting this workshop in partnership with Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC), the Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC) and Dairy Processors Association of Canada (DPAC).
The workshop is to take stock of the current situation worldwide on climate change, as well as to examine initiatives dairy farmers and processors have undertaken to promote sustainable development, in Canada and around the world.
As part of the workshop, FIL-IDF Canada will highlight the challenges and opportunities for the Canadian dairy industry and set the table to discuss a possible 5-year Action Plan for Canada’s dairy industry.
FIL-IDF Canada and its partners hope to integrate the Canadian dairy industry’s action into the International Dairy Federation’s (IDF) Global Dairy Agenda for Action on Climate Change and IDF Green Paper and Initiative.
